MGEN in a few words<\/h2>\n

MGEN is the Mutuelle de l’\u00c9ducation nationale, a member of the VYV group, France’s leading mutual insurance union. Put out to tender by the Ministry of National Education, MGEN won the contract and remains the reference mutual insurer for teachers. Its information systems department has around 1,000 people spread across Paris, Tours and Nancy, nearly half of them external contractors.<\/p>\n

The challenge<\/h2>\n

With around fifty requesters with regular needs, twice-monthly committees to review new needs and a panel of 70 suppliers, MGEN’s IT purchasing team has to manage a large volume of time-and-materials services. Its goal: a reduced panel, a highly concentrated tier 1 and a genuine partnership of trust with its suppliers, which requires a reliable tool to follow every service from A to Z.<\/p>\n

The solution<\/h2>\n

MGEN has relied on OBMS since 2018 to manage all of its time-and-materials purchasing of intellectual services: needs entered by project managers, tenders, contracts and amendments, activity reports and validation slips. Suppliers and requesters describe the platform in a single word: intuitive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
